What is Nutritional Counseling?

The main focus of nutritional counseling is to build health and wellness.

Every cell in our body is built from the raw materials we consume. The more suitable our food choices are to our specific requirements, the better cell structures we can build.

Individual nutritional imbalances and weaknesses must be assessed since each person is biochemically unique. What works for one may not for another. The "one size fits all" approach to nutrition is usually not very effective.

Nutritional assessments can define weaknesses using the body's symptoms. Lifestyle changes are recommended which will bring a lasting effect on the quality of your life.

The area of recommendations discussed will be individually tailored. Nutritional consultant practitioners educate and advise on a variety of areas, such as: dietary habits, food selection/preparation, proper food combining, digestion, recommendations of food supplements (vitamins, minerals, enzymes, essential fatty acids, tissue salts), weight normalization, lifestyle changes (relaxation/fitness regime), sports nutrition, analysis of nutrient deficiencies, convalescence, family nutrition, bowel cleanses, yeast overgrowth, fasting, environmental pollution, toxicity, parasites, food sensitivities, and more.

Educating clients about the benefits of a sound nutritional program that encourages the body to heal itself is of paramount importance. After all, whole nutrition is the cornerstone of health.
