Tamara’s experience
as an illustrator is clear as one regards her ability to breathe life into
storytelling. Her emotion evoking imagery coupled with her attention to
detail invites the viewer to discover something new at every glance. This
was documented in specialized colouring books, book covers (Recipes for
Cat Lovers, The Grist Mill) the media (The Ottawa Citizen, Storyteller
Magazine) and much more.
Side note: The Ottawa
Valley Writer's Guild awarded Tamara
the winner of the Grist
Mill Cover Award three times in a row.
They ended up scrapping
the contest altogether by the fourth year.
These are some of Tamara's
commissioned specialized colouring books.
She is also the author of
'Karate: Kicks for Kids.
Tamara’s gift for writing
offers revelation for the roots of her image-creation talents. Her potent
writing style equals the authentic responses justified by her visual works.
It is no surprise, therefore, that she executes projects (i.e. scripts
for television, children's books, newspaper features) which as much ease
as the stroke of the brush. |
